KiDZ
At North Way Oakland, we seek to engage kids in the irresistible adventure of following Christ.

Your child from birth through 5th grade is invited to a safe, loving environment where they will receive care and participate in age-appropriate activities. Children and their families will be greeted by a volunteer at our Central Check-in area before entering one of our three KiDZ areas:
- Nursery – 0-35 months
- Preschool – 3-5 years old
- Elementary – Kindergarten–Fifth Grade
Nursery - 0-35 months
You can relax and enjoy worship while we care for your precious one.
We have two care areas for children with well-trained, nurturing caregivers and age-appropriate toys to keep your child
engaged and happy.
You can view your child's play area through our observation windows which allow you to see into the nursery without upsetting your child.
When packing a bag for your child, we ask that you include:
- 2-3 disposable diapers
- Pacifier or soothing item
- Complete change of clothes
- Bottle of milk, formula juice or water
For your convenience, an area is provided for nursing mothers when needed.
Preschool - 3-5 years old
Your preschooler will arrive to a welcoming leader who will engage your child in active play. Throughout the course of the morning, Preschool joins Elementary to participate in the large group lesson designed to teach corporate worship and biblical truths. After large group, the kids go back to their small group area where they are encouraged to participate in our interactive programming that uses crafts, games and other fun activities to reinforce the focus and theme of the Bible story taught that week.
Elementary
Building relationships between kids and Christ.
That is the focus of our elementary program. Your child will enjoy creative teaching and worship from dynamic teachers, both in large group and in small.
In the process, your child will be building life-changing relationships with other kids and a gifted teacher.
Older students also share prayer requests and begin to put scripture into practice in their daily lives.
